I am an oil painter in Richmond, Virginia, a graduate of UVA, and a Tidewater native. I have been painting avocationally for 10 years. Sometimes it is highly frustrating and other times it is a joyful exercise.
My influences include Edgar Payne and the California plein air painters, French impressionists, Vincent Van Gogh, and Japanese printmaker Kawase Hasui.
